From zipping across town to tackling mountain passes you've never ridden before, the Kathmandu EXC from CUBE is designed to get you there – and back – in comfort and style. We chose Shimano's Cues 2x11 gears for their ease of use and reliability. Then we added powerful Shimano hydraulic disc brakes and Schwalbe's 47mm Marathon Mondial tyres, so you know you're in full control at all times. Finally, we selected an easily adjustable Suntour air suspension fork to take the edge off rough road surfaces. With our Integrated Carrier 3.0 and a full complement of accessories – including mudguards, kickstand and lights – you've everything you need. Just jump on and go.

Frame description
Attention to detail is a CUBE obsession. That's why, with the Kathmandu's Integrated Carrier 3.0, we designed it to work seamlessly with our ACID mudguard. We've fitted a flat mount for the rear disc brake – it also accommodates the kickstand – and used Smooth Welding to give the frame joints a tidy, organic appearance. But it's not all about looks. We also equipped the rear end with a thru-axle and added a tapered head tube for improved rigidity and steering precision, even when fully laden. With Internal Cable Routing to complement the frame's clean looks, we reckon we've thought of everything. Just don't forget your toothbrush.
